This picturesque venue offers exquisitely designed gardens, beautifully mowed meadows, colourful flowers and a festival vibe.
The Wood Glade is an enchanted area within the woods to have for your wedding ceremony. The relaxed walk through the extensive meadows and gardens down to the Glade will settle your nerves while taking in all the natural beauty.
Other areas of the gardens are also available for the ceremony including the magnificent pyramid gardens and Stone circle.
The bohemian style barn is finished beautiful with ever room echoing a different continent.
There is plenty of cosy areas for your guests to relax and enjoy, including the snug, pink sitting room and top sitting room to name a few.

- The vast skies and endless fields and meadows make you feel a million miles away from civilisation.
- The venue's layout ensures privacy for couples and their guests, enabling me to capture intimate moments without distractions, creating authentic and emotive photographs.
I had the pleasure of photographing the 360 degree tours for Chaucer Barn, hence I got to know the venue very well and really fell in love with it.
My top 5 photographs at Chaucer Barn:
- The venue features ample natural light, allowing me to capture beautifully lit shots both indoors and outdoors, enhancing the overall ambiance of the photographs.
- The paths weaving through the meadows and the Stone Circle allows for photographs like no where else. You get a very unique and almost spiritual experience from Chaucers Barn. As their slogan says ‘Back to nature’.
- I love the surrounding balcony that over looks the banqueting hall. This area is perfect for great photographic angles of your evening entertainment and first dance.
- The pyramid gardens. These create the most enchanting backdrop for your group and couple photographs.
- The twinkly lights through the woodland gardens at night create a magical scene. You can just imagine fairies and pixies sneaking about.
