Norfolk Wedding Venues – Southwood Hall, Southwood, Norfolk

What do I love about Southwood Hall as a Norfolk wedding venue?

Everything!

As a Norfolk wedding photographer there always seems to be something new and exciting to use as a backdrop or as a finer detail to photograph at Southwood Hall.

As a Norfolk wedding photographer I find myself at the venue 4 or 5 times a year.

The Barn at Southwood Hall is to the highest standard and is kept immaculate for each wedding.

The grounds at Southwood Hall are perfect for your wedding photography because all of the amazing backdrops.

All the backdrops are a minute walk from the Barn. Why is that is important I hear you say!  Well it means you don’t need to walk miles in those new high heels and as a photographer it means we have more time to shoot some romantic shots together.

With those huge glass windows at the front and back there is tones of natural light bouncing throughout – perfect for your wedding pictures.

The Cart Shed is the ideal location to get ready with your bridesmaids and just across the drive from the grand barn.

I have also shot weddings where the groom gets ready across the way at Southwood House.  This is lovely as I get to shoot both the bride and groom in relaxed surroundings just seconds from each other.

The Garden Folly is also amazing and has some extra features that allow for more great wedding photographs.  The Folly with its Princess Tower allows myself as your photographer to get aerial shots of you and your family. This is ideal for those with larger families.

My top 5 things about Southwood Hall Norfolk:

  1. Natural light through out – They really seemed to have thought about the photographs when designing this place.
  2. The finer details like the outside swing, beautiful décor and pizza oven!
  3. The food – I love the food, and I love the way they get your guests involved in the dramatics of the wedding breakfast.
  4. The flexibility to get married outside and in (if the weather is bad) the staff turn around the venue in super fast time.
  5. The way everything flows – its just works seamlessly

As you can probably tell I am a big fan of Southwood Hall in Norfolk.
